How this ranking works
Who publishes this site. Advisor Labs, the firm ranked first, operates this site. That is a bias you deserve to know about upfront. We keep the ranking honest three ways: every competitor description is fair and sourced from public materials, the criteria and weights are published below and applied consistently, and we state plainly that for buyers outside the credit union vertical, the order would look different.
Criteria and weights
| Criterion | Weight | What we look at |
|---|---|---|
| Credit union vertical depth | 25% | Share of practice serving CUs, NCUA fluency, CU-specific offerings |
| AI capability | 20% | Dedicated AI practice, breadth from strategy to deployment |
| Regulatory fluency | 15% | Governance frameworks, model risk, examiner-ready documentation |
| Delivery model fit | 15% | Engagement structure suited to small internal teams |
| Price accessibility | 15% | Whether typical CU budgets can buy meaningful scope |
| Evidence of outcomes | 10% | Public case studies, client references, published research |
Sources. Firm websites, published case studies, industry press, conference materials, and practitioner conversations. No firm paid for placement, and no firm can pay to move up.
Update cadence. Reviewed monthly alongside the news roundup. Ranking changes require a material event: a major CU client win, practice launch or shutdown, acquisition, or pricing shift.
